A mid-Victorian painted mahogany striking bracket clock
the arched case with fruit and leafy scroll carved cornice, with chamfered front angles, tracery sound frets to the sides, on moulded and stepped base with flattened bracket feet, later decorated overall with floral sprays and trophies, with scene to the front of figures in 18th century costume playing blind man's buff, the silvered dial with Roman chapter ring and foliate-incised centre signed D.Bagshaw 28 Poland St. Oxford Street, the twin chain fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on gong -- 26in.(66cm.) high
