The movement striking on a single bell with purple-ground porcelain dial, the centre painted with scrolling foliage supported by a neo-classical urn, in highly ornamental case, the dial and movement enclosed by a circular frame, flanked by goat's mask and drop loop handles, surmounted by a two-handled urn, with pineapple finial, the frieze inset with a triangular-shaped porcelain panel painted with a female and a child, on shaped oval base incorporating further similarly decorated porcelain panels, ending in toupie feet
