Dutch-decorated and inscribed in sepia within yellow-ground borders painted with garlands within brown-line rims, comprising: a drum-shaped salt-cellar and a pepper-shaker and sugar-castor both cylindrical with tall domed pierced tops respectively inscribed PEFFER and ZUCKER, impressed marks -- 5in. (12.7cm.) high and smaller, circa 1785 (slight chips, flakes and wear)
