A pearlware figure of Christ
of Sherratt-type, modelled seated holding a plaque inscribed MARVEL NOT THAT I SAID UNTO THEE YE MUST BE BORN AGAIN, wearing flowing robes, with one foot resting on a stand inscribed CHRIST TEACHETH IOHN 3 CH, before a flowering bocage, the mound hollow base moulded with scrolling foliage, painted in colours -- 10 5/8in. (27.3cm.) high, circa 1820 (minor damages and restoration)
