A porcelain pastille-burner
modelled as a two-storey house with a single chimney on a multi-gabled roof suspending a bird's nest, a bird perched above, pierced with windows and applied with foliage, on a mound base moulded with steps, sparsely coloured and gilt -- 4½in. (11.5cm.) high, circa 1840 (minor restoration and wear)
