in gold and enamel modelled in the 18th century taste depicting twin mermaids and chased grotesque masks surmount suspending triple cornelian cameos of classical masks, the centre set with a cameo of the full-face Medusa supported by two diamonds, with polychrome scroll enamel surround, to a pendant loop and with accompanying snake link neckchain, all in fitted case stamped John Brogden Goldsmith Manufactory 16 Henrietta Street, Covent Garden, London, First Class Paris Medal 1851, 1855, 1867.
