Ray Campbell
Born in Surrey 1956
From his school boy days Ray was convinced he would make a worth while career as a painter and to his end he has succeeded with various exhibitions both in the U.K. and abroad.
Gifted with natural ability he was always inspired by the Old Master Still Life painters and now has a large following in this field. He has collected old toys, glass, porcelain and clocks, often feature in his paintings, especially teddy bears, which he arranges with Jack in the Boxes, Gollies and more, in amusing situations.
Last December Christie's South Kensington successfully sold two of his canvases in their first sale entirely devoted to teddy bears. His most recent exhibition of Still Life was held, during September, in Victoria, Australia.
