This bear shares many of the characteristics of Barle PAB 35 except for size, and very probably once had a sealing-wax nose.

An early Steiff teddy bear
with golden mohair, black boot button eyes, pronounced snout, swivel head, five black stitched claws on each paw, elongated jointed shaped limbs, large shaped paws, cream felt pads, hump, soft filled and elephant button in ear --15in. (38cm.) tall, circa 1904 (soft stuffing slightly shifted)
