A four-piece tea and coffee service with tea tray and sugar tongs,
the former in the early 19th Century taste, of moulded oblong form and on ball feet, each decorated with friezes of stylised foliage and with a moulded everted rim, the teapot and coffee pot with rising curved spouts, ebonised wood bracket handles and domed hinged covers with rounded oblong wood finials, the tray in the late 18th Century taste, of oval form and with a reeded rim, plain ground and two reeded scroll handles with foliate terminals, the reeded sugar tongs George III, the tea and coffee service and the tray Roberts & Belk, Sheffield - height of coffee pot 8½in. (21.75cm.), length of tray 23¼in. (59cm.) overall, 136oz. gross.
