the former of cauldron form, each stamped with a frieze of acorns and oak leaves, John Newton Mappin, London 1890, the latter modelled as an Irish 18th Century potato ring, of waisted circular form and pierced with slats, fitted with a blue glass liner and stamped with paterae and laurel leaf and berry swags, each side with a vacant oval cartouche - 5¾in.
