A Victorian silver-gilt teaset
in the neo-classical taste, each decorated with beading, engraved with a monogram and bright-cut with bow and foliate swags and wrigglework, comprising: an oval tray, the border chased with paterae and swags and pierced with slats - 15in. (38cm.), a tapering oval teapot with ivory scroll handle and flat hinged cover with oval ivory finial, a pedestal cream jug with beaded scroll handle, a pedestal sugar basin with beaded swing handle, a pair of teaspoons and a pair of sugar tongs, in a plush-lined tooled leather case, Henry Holland, London 1872 and 1873 - height of teapot 5in. (12.75cm.), 64oz. gross.
