A late Victorian three-piece afternoon tea service
of part-fluted bombe-shaped oblong form, on ball feet, the teapot with rising curved spout, ebonised wood bracket handle and fluted domed hinged cover with fluted oval wood finial, Findlay & Taylor, London 1889, each impressed with a patent registration mark - height of teapot 5¼in. (13.25cm.), 17oz. gross.
