A late Victorian teapot
of compressed moulded circular form, on shell and hoof feet and with a rising curved spout, shaped rim, polished wood double scroll handle and domed hinged cover with turned wood finial, decorated overall with rococo flowers, foliage, scalework and C-scrolls incorporating two vacant cartouches, Messrs. Barnard, London 1896 - 6in. (15.25cm.), 20oz. gross.
