the hull finished in red and black with white superstructure and tan deck,single flue externally-fired boiler and vaporizing spirit lamp (reproduction), driving two double-acting cylinders with piston valves, gear coupled to twin propellers, reversable through steam chest and linkage, mechanical details including safety valve, sight glass, boiler drain cock and cylinder lubricators, steering from stern helm, and port and starboard anchors operated from deck capstans, on original sea-painted wheeled trolley, circa 1909 (F-G, some repaired collision damage to stern, three leading funnels and adjacent area scorched from burner, some resoldering on funnel deck)
