Lot Essay

Eric Caldow made a total of 40 appearances for Scotland and would, without doubt, have increased that number considerably if it were not for his broken leg received in the match against England at Wembley in 1963. The Scottish Football Association has, in recent years, awarded medallions to players who have achieved 25 and 50 appearances for Scotland and the above medallion was presented to Caldow in recognition of achieving 25 appearances.
