A French late 18th/early 19th Century two-pillar frame corkscrew with loop finial, the fine threaded shaft supported by a guide bar working between two slotted round-section pillars, archimedian screw, lacking threaded sheath handle, the collar band secured on one side by two grub screws, the other side with replacement screws, some file marks on inside of collar and web slightly defective.
