Painted with a central flower-vase with peony, surrounded to the rim by three shaped floral cartouches enclosing plum blossom, reserved on a washed-blue ground enriched with flower-heads, rim chip, rubbed gilding, 25.4 cm. wide; and an Imari dish with a central flower-vase within a shaped panel surrounded by three cartouches enclosing pine, irises and cherry alternated by stylised lotus below the foliate rim, rubbed, rim frits
