An Arita blue and white pear-shaped ewer
Edo Period (Circa 1670)
Painted in the 'Transitional style' with three figures in a landscape with bamboo and pine, the neck encircled with bands of stiff leaves, lotus and karakusa scrollwork, the long curved spout attached to the body with a small bracket, applied with loop handle, cracks to the handle, small rim restoration
