Three ivory carvings
18th/19th Century
Comprising a circular seal box and cover, carved in relief with a large butterfly on a scrollwork ground, the box and sides decorated with stylised bats, 5 cm. diam.; an ivory snuff bottle of spade form, carved in relief with a bat facing a double-cash motif, coral stopper, 5.2 cm. high; and an ivory rectangular plaque carved with two ladies and a young child, 3.7 x 10 cm.
