The octagonal bombé sides supported on four dragon-head feet, painted overall in gilt with numerous figures and extensive pavilions surrounded by a rich vegetation on a black ground, the hinged cover opening to a pair of fitted pewter tea-caddies and covers, incised with floral motifs, a deer and rabbit, some wear
