Special notice

Christie's charges a Buyer's premium calculated at 20.825% of the hammer price for each lot with a value up to €90,000 (NLG 198.334). Lot Essay

Although dishes with this type of decoration are not uncommon (see C.J.A. Jörg, Chinese Ceramics in the collection of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, 1997, p.95, pl.85), a tureen with this 'aster' decoration is quite rare.
