A famille verte silver-mounted vase and two ewers
Kangxi, the silver 19th Century
The pear-shaped vase raised on a silver rockwork stand and mounted silver neck, decorated to the body with flowering peony branches and insects below the bulbous section to the neck, 18.5 cm. high, and a similar vase in shards; a ewer raised on a splayed foot painted with flowers and birds, silver-mounted neck and cover, small baking flaw to handle, 16.8 cm. high; and a ewer painted to each side with a song-bird perched on a flowering peony branch beside chrysanthemum, a butterfly nearby, with silver mounts to parts of the handle, the rim, spout and cover, 13.5 cm. high (3)
