In the Home Championship match against Wales, played on 5th October 1935 at Cardiff, Scotland and Wales drew 1-1. In the Home Championship match against England, played on 4th April 1936 at Wembley, Scotland and England drew 1-1.

The above Scotland International cap was awarded to the Rangers and Scotland left-half George Brown who between 1931 and 1938 played 19 times for Scotland at full International level. He joined Rangers in September 1929 and was part of the famous side that won the Championship seven times and the Scottish Cup four times in the 1930's
