A GROUP OF WESTERN ASIATIC BANDED AGATE AND CORNELIAN BEADS
1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
Of triangular form, some strung as a necklet; a large group of circular and oval banded agate 'eye' beads and inlays, of various sizes, with white, orange, brown and black layers, most pierced for attachment, 3rd-1st millennium B.C. and later; five agate duck beads, with heads resting along their backs, one with white and red veining; and two agate scaraboids with engraved bases, all pierced for suspension, all 1st millennium B.C.(a lot)
