With high cheek-bones, unarticulated eyes and pursed lips, her centrally parted hair elaborately dressed in braids with tight ringlets over her brow, twisted locks of hair at the back and sides drawn into a chignon at nape of neck, nose worn, chipped; and a marble head of a woman wearing a veil, with elaborate high-arching coiffure with tiers of curls, both mounted
