A HELLENISTIC TERRACOTTA HEAD OF ATHENA
CIRCA 4TH-3RD CENTURY B.C.
Wearing an Attic helmet with upturned cheekpieces, three attachment holes above for crest (now missing), adorned with large disc earrings, her hair swept back in wavy locks, with white slip and traces of red and brown colour, broken away at neck, mounted; and a Gandharan painted stucco fragmentary male head, bearded and with moustache, with traces of red colour, repaired, 3rd-4th Century A.D.
