AN EGYPTIAN GESSO-PAINTED WOODEN SARCOPHAGUS OF TA-WESIR

Wearing tripartite wig and broad floral collar, below the kneeling figure of a winged goddess wearing sun disc, with two wedjat-eye standards on either side, five columns of hieroglyphs below, protected on both sides by the Four Sons of Horus, which read: "Recitation by Osiris Khentymentiu, the good god, Lord of Setau, and Isis divine mother who resides at Ipsut, and Nephthys sister of the god, that they might give an offering of bread, beer, fowl and meat, wine and milk, incense and cloth, and all good and pure things, and all for the ka of the Osirid, Ta-Wesir, daughter of Tutu, born of Lady Tashertmin", mounted in a glazed wooden display case
