The knobbed lid decorated with winged Eros seated on a rocky outcrop holding a mirror, the other side with a seated maenad holding a laden phiale and wreath, large palmettes between, details in added white and yellow, scrolling wave around the rim, the body black glazed with twin handles, graffito on underside of lid and foot
