FOUR HELLENISTIC PAINTED TERRACOTTA MUSICAL EROTES
4TH-3RD CENTURY B.C.
Seated, with outspread wings, two with hands raised to play a lyre (instrument now missing), one with cymbals (the other with cymbals missing), wearing red cross-bands over the chest, the two cymbal players with armlets, each with white slip and remains of pink, blue and red painted details, one with leg missing, another with repair to arm, and two with wings missing

One pair formerly in the collection of Derwa Arthur Bergilers; the other pair acquired from Galerie Deletaille, Brussels.
