A ROMAN AMBER GLASS TREFOIL-LIPPED JUG
CIRCA 3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D.
The four-sided body with deep vertical flutes, the amber-green handle attached to rim and shoulder, 5 in. (12.7 cm.) high; a pale blue glass trefoil-lipped jug with inward-folded rim, the cylindrical body with vertical fluting, handle attached to rim and shoulder, silvery iridescence, 3 3/8 in. (8.5 cm.) high; an amber glass twin-balsamarium, each cylindrical phial with thick inward-folded rim, with twin trailed side handles, 4¼ in. (10.9 cm.) high; and a translucent glass juglet with spherical body, tall neck and trailed handle, base trail now missing, 2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm.) high, all with some iridescence, all 3rd-4th Century A.D. (4)
