A ROMAN PALE GREEN GLASS TALL BOTTLE WITH VERTICAL RIBS
CIRCA 4TH CENTURY A.D.
The rounded body with fourteen vertical ribs, tapering to slender cylindrical neck with flaring rim, traces of a trailed band at the base of the neck (now missing), iridescence, 8¾ in, (22.3 cm.) high; a colourless glass flask, the rounded body with four large indentations, on ring foot, and tall funnel-shaped neck, encrustation and slight iridescence, 8 in. (20.3 cm.) high; a pale green glass flask with squat body, ring foot, and tall conical neck, 5½ in. (14 cm.) high, both 3rd Century A.D.; and two unguentaria, of pale blue and pale green glass, both with squat bodies and tall cylindrical necks, one with part of rim missing, both 1st-2nd Century A.D., 5¼ in. (3.4 cm.) high max. (5)
