A CYPRIOT BICHROME WARE SQUAT RING BASE JAR
CYPRO-ARCHAIC, 600-475 B.C.
The body with twin loop side handles, the shoulder carinated with small narrow rim, decorated on each side with chequered vertical panel bordered by stylized lotus leaves, flanked by band of parallel lines, encircling bands below, on ring foot, one handle repaired; and a similar stemmed bowl, with vertical lines with stylized lotus leaf framing twin swastika motifs on each side, band of encircling lines above, the interior with concentric bands, twin horizontal handles and flared foot, Cypro-Archaic, 750-600 B.C.
