A CYPRIOT BICHROME WARE ZOOMORPHIC-SPOUTED RING VESSEL
LATE BRONZE AGE/EARLY IRON AGE, 11TH-8TH CENTURY B.C.
The hollow ring with goat-headed spout above to the front, linked to second trumpet-shaped aperture on the far side by arched handle, two red painted moulded pomegranates on either side of the vessel, the goat's head with trumpet-shaped muzzle and beard indicated beneath, with horns arched back to join the handle, the vessel decorated with black painted ladder pattern, repaired with restoration
8 7/8 in. (22.5 cm.) diam. max.
