A PAIR OF CYPRIOT GOLD BULL'S HEAD EARRINGS
LATE BRONZE AGE, CIRCA 1450-1200 B.C.
Each with a hollow stylized bull's head pendant, the gold wire loop emerging from twin collared apertures at the top of the head represents the bull's horns, a cross within a circle on the forehead, with chased naturalistic details repeated on the reverse
Heads ¾ in. (1.8 cm.) long max. (2)
