A CYPRIOT WHITE PAINTED WARE RAM ASKOS
MIDDLE BRONZE AGE, CIRCA 1725-1650 B.C.
The spherical body on four short feet, with raised tail in the form of a cutaway spout, loop handle on the centre back, the ram's head with tightly curled horns, forward bent ears below, with pierced eyes and mouth, black painted linear decoration, repaired with slight restoration; and another zoomorphic askos, a small loop handle on the back, circular hole on the neck, with pinched horizontal wing projections at either side of the body, Middle Bronze Age, circa 1725-1650 B.C.
