A CYPRIOT DRAB POLISHED WARE TWIN-NECKED JUG
MIDDLE BRONZE AGE, 1900-1650 B.C.
The spherical body with pointed base and twin cutaway-beak spouts, a small loop handle on the shoulder below the twin necks with a bird perched upon it, another below the main vertical handle, the vertical handle with a zoomorphic thumb-grip in the shape of an animal head with open mouth, antlers represented above as the handle divides to connect the two spouts, on either side of the neck is a model bird on a stem rising from the shoulder, one bird with flattened body, decorated in addition with dotted relief bands, restored
