A LARGE CYPRIOT DRAB POLISHED WARE SUBSIDIARY-UNIT JUG
EARLY/MIDDLE BRONZE AGE, 2300-1650 B.C.
With 'nipple' base and cutaway-beak spout, mounted on the shoulder are a pair of subsidiary bowls, one on either side of the neck on tall stems, the handle itself with a large zoomorphic thumb-grip in the form of a bull's head, on the shoulder of the jug opposite the handle is a modelled figure of a standing bull with stippled decoration over its body, incised dots around the base of the jug's neck, repaired, restoration to animal horns
