A CYPRIOT RELIEF-DECORATED RED POLISHED WARE BOWL
EARLY BRONZE AGE, 2500-1900 B.C.
The conical-shaped bowl with slightly flattened base, the upper body decorated with relief-work imitating cord suspension net, the notched cords interspersed with circular bosses, four large pinched lugs around the rim, each with flattened circular top with central depression, three notched diminutive lugs on the rim between each larger one, repaired
11¾ in. (29.8 cm.) diam.
