TWO CYPRIOT RELIEF-DECORATED RED POLISHED WARE JUGS
EARLY BRONZE AGE, 2500-1900 B.C.
One with rounded body and cylindrical neck with everted rim, large pierced lug at base of neck opposite ring handle, notched bands around the neck, and short horizontal zigzag band on either side of the shoulder, one incised on horizontal band, the other in relief; and another jug similar, but with cutaway-beak spout, relief bands around the neck and four incised vertical zigzags around the body, both vessels repaired
15 1/8 in. (38.3 cm.) and 14 5/8 in. (37.2 cm.) high respectively (2)
