A CYPRIOT INCISED RED POLISHED WARE JUG WITH ATTACHED PLANK FIGURE
EARLY BRONZE AGE, CIRCA 2000-1900 B.C.
The jug with gourd-shaped body, short neck and wide everted rim, a single plank-figure of Shoulder type emerging from the shoulder, the figure with incised dots and lines for facial features, neck and skirt bands with two diagonal lines on the chest, the body of the jug incised with concentric circles, zigzags and blocks of parallel lines, repaired with restoration
