Lot Essay

Although not an official F.A.Cup final programmes, the above match card was produced to commemorate the 1888 final. The poem on the back is by Albert Craig who was also known as the Surrey Rhymester. Craig who was more associated with cricket was well known around this time for producing postcards and similar printed ephemera with his poems printed on them.
