A large cloisonne jardiniere
Early 19th Century
of rounded quatrefoil shape with gilt bronze stylised ruyi-head rim, decorated in various coloured enamels with birds and butterflies amongst flowering branches issuing from rockwork below a band of lappets, gilt metal mounts to foot rim -- 20 1/8in. (51cm.) wide, (minor wear, loose section to mounts on foot).
