A pair of large cloisonne enamel elephants

each modelled standing forward with heads turned slightly to one side with trunk raised, each carrying a baluster vase decorated with scrolling lotus, taotie masks and geometic motifs, above a saddlecloth decorated with bats and a wrything dragon among cloud scrolls and flames above foaming waves, gilt metal and blue enamel trappings -- 23½in. (60cm.) wide, (minor damages).
