HOMMAN, Johann Baptise (1663-1724) and others. [Composite Atlas]. [Most Nuremberg, ca mid-18th century].
2o (515 x 325 mm). 103 engraved maps, most colored by hand, principally by Homann, with others by Schenk, Valk, Sanson and Danckerts (ink stamps on versos, worn throughout, old repairs, soiling and spotting). Near contemporary quarter calf (covers detached, worn).
Including: HOMANN, Geographische Universal-Zeig und Schlag-Uhr, Tabula selenographica, Planiglobii terrestris cum utroq hemisphaerio caelesti (two copies with varying coloring), the remaining maps principally of Europe; SCHENK, Planisphaerium coeleste.
