with mahogany body dividing into two sections, ebonised borders, lacquered lapped-brass fittings, six brass slide doors and mahogany doors with coloured glass windows in brass surrounds, tin chimney with painted decoration, three brass-bound lenses with rack and pinion focusing, the upper lenses with rackwork vertical dissolve effect, on mahogany base and later studio tripod; three wooden slide carriers, three condensers and later brass lamp trays - 35in.
