Tasting note: The 1995 is one of the vintage's most provocative wines. The toasty pain grille nose also incorporates copious amount of roasted coffee, tobacco, smoke, and black currants. The wine, which tasted like a hypothetical La Mission-Haut Brion/Château Margaux blend with the elevated ripeness and fruit of California, requires 5-7 years of cellaring; it will keep for 25+ years.
