Two young women standing near an open shoji holding a letter-scroll between them, the kimono of the girl on the right is mainly printed without an outline and the texture of her garment is emphasised by an elaborate use of kimekomi [gauffrage], on the right a pile of quilts has been placed on a large storage chest, and a large mon [crest] can be seen on the curtain on the left, signed Suzuki Harunobu ga, very good impression with gauffrage, some fading of colour, very good condition
