the bowl, supported on three oars and with an anchor on loop below is engraved Presented by MR. PEPPE OF BIRDPORE GORAKHPORE GORACKPORE YACHT CLUB Won by LT.Col De H. LARPENTS Yacht KATE 6 tons on 20th. September 1872, tapering stem to domed foot with three waterline rudders with guiding chains to the oars -- 9½in. (24cm.); togetehr with another, smaller, the bowl inscribed REPLICA SCOTT VICTORY CUP won by A.M. PATONS M.Y. "ARABIAN III" 1921, cherub mask supports with mermaid below -- 5¾in. (14.5cm.)
