with three-circle black crackle frame, polished brass arc signed and numbered Heath & Co New Eltham London Y587, and divided 5°- 0°- 125°, micrometer with quick release clamp and micrometer drum fine adjustment, index arm with 'Hezzanith' trade mark labels, adjustable height sighting tube, seven shades, two mirrors, brown bakelite handle and pin feet, contained within fitted box with test label for 1957, drop handle and securing hooks; together with a liquid filled compass by Kelvin, Bottomley & Baird Ltd, with gimball ring, contained in wooden box with instructions dated '7 NOV 1915', securing hooks and leather strap -- 7½ x 10 x 10in. (19 x 25.4 x 25.4cm.)
