A FINE COMBINATION POCKET ANNEROID BAROMETER, COMPASS AND THERMOMETER, CIRCA 1896, UNSIGNED
the 2in. diameter dial comprising small compass with half blued steel needle, gold barometer needle and semi-circular thermometer in Faranheit, bevelled outer adjustable ring with barometric pressure in feet, contained in a hallmarked silver case with makers mark for [Walter] Thornhill & Co. and engraved on inner rim for retailer Clark 20 Old Bond St., the hinged lid with applied gold monogram with baron's coronet over and engraved To Gordon Wilson. August 5th. 1904; together with another aneroid barometer and thermometer, by Asprey London in ivory case, the lid with carved mongram and baron's coronet, each -- 1 1/8in. high (2)
